Happy Halloween!

It was a crazy night with everyone all dressed up! I painted fake blood on a couple of faces… Fun times. :D

Ciccy the chinadoll, me the dead bride and Hilton, supposedly my dead groom for the night.

Ben as Bob Marley? Hahahaha this was really funny. There were tons of dead brides, just not in long flowy red dresses… Tramaine got some crazy face paint going on…

Guys as girls. Stefan as Miss Piggy! Oink oink.

Some random snaps from my new camera as you can see. very happy with it so far, the halloween photos turned out pretty awesome. These were shot with the toy camera filter. (my favourite!) It’s the Canon Powershot A3300 IS by the way, I got it for $239 from Parisilk Store.

It’s the last day of october ya’ll. tomorrow would mark the beginning of the last two months of 2011. geeeeee, time is really flying pretty quick huh? xx

28 Lunch.

Sunny side-ups. An easier egg option, especially when you run out of milk at home.

This was actually better than scrambled eggs, must be the half-cooked yoke. I had the bacon cooking in the toaster so I “toasted” the bread in a frying pan instead. You save on the oil mess from frying bacon in a pan, and bread actually tastes really good if you fry it with butter instead of just toasting it.

Now you know. xx

Cappuccino for a Cause, tomorrow!

Don’t forget! xx

late night tummy fillers.

Had a rather light dinner so by 11 my tummy was crying to be filled. :/

Have you tried sugar toast? It’s been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Mummy always made it for me, of course, now I can make it myself. It’s really easy!

How? Half-toast bread, spread butter, sprinkle sugar, and pop them back in to toast for abit until the sugar starts to “boil”.

Tadaaaaaaa! Quick, easy and very yummy too! Try it! xx

Simi, Siri?

Needed some amusement today so I was listening to this again. Cracks me up everytime! I know some of you aren’t from Singapore, so I don’t know if you’ve heard of “Singlish”, it’s basically, Singaporean English.

Enjoy! xx

the girl in the red dress.

Last night over dinner and drinks we were talking about Halloween outfits. I remembered I had face paint leftover from earlier this year when I did Fash Mob at The Butter Factory so I started looking for it when I got home. Also remembered I have my sister’s red wedding night gown.

I think this looks pretty convincing actually. Especially if people have been following news of the body of the woman found dead in a red dress? Spooky. But it’s really easy tho, you just need red face paint and blue/black eyeshadow and lots of guts to look all gory. xx

my silly, secret muse.

Do you have a secret muse, too? xx

selling : fringe wedges $26 mailed

I got them for almost $40 from Xquisis if I’m not wrong. They don’t sell this design anymore. Only wore these twice so they’re still very new. It’s made of really good material too, kinda suede-ish.

I absolutely love the pop art notebook for 2012, it’s soooooo purple & girly! Not sure if they’ll be retailing this but I’m totally saving it for the new year. See the pink polka dot pouch? I think that’s gonna be my new makeup pouch replacing Paul Frank, or perhaps I should save that for 2012 too… Hmmmmmmmmm

I’ll try out the products and you girls can expect more vanity posts soon-ish! For now tho, I have to go fill my rumbling tummy. Grrrrr grrrrr grrrrrrrrrr

Sponsored Review : Amethystory

I first saw the Amethystory range of products at Watsons a couple of weeks ago, and I was given the opportunity to review 3 out of the 5 products in the range! *happy dance

They provided me with some really awesome visuals so I’ll cut short on the details and just tell you what I think of the products.

First up, an absolute must have, the mineral aqua gel!

I love love loveeeeeeeeeeee this! I’ve been using it for close to two weeks now and I must say, my skin does feel smoother and softer. It removes cornified dead skin, prepping your skin for optimum absorption of skincare nutrients!

Look at all that gunk! For those with oily/combination skin (like me), the bio energy fluid in this helps to balance oil secretion while keeping skin hydrated and rejuvenated! The gel also contains hyaluronic acid that provides intense hydration and supports the formation and maintenance of collagen for supple and elastic skin. (We all know how important collagen is for our skin to stay young!) I always believe that good things are meant to be shared, soooo…..

Next up, the mineral bubble face wash!

I love the light scent of the bubble face wash. I use it after I exfoliate with the mineral aqua gel and it feels absolutely refreshing! So, I’ve exfoliated and I’ve washed off all that dead skin debris with the bubble wash… What’s next?

The mineral aqua whitening enhancer of course! :)

I refuse to go to sleep without this! It’s the last thing I must do before I go to bed every night, even if that’s 5am after parties over the weekends. :D

Like the bubble wash, this also has a very light refreshing scent. I use this before applying make up as well and it works like a gem! No dry, rough patches! It contains Tranexamic acid that fights dark spots and lightens complexion for a radiant glow by inhibiting melanin growth and removing existing pigmentation, and also eliminates discoloration caused by acne and sun damage. And wait, it also has anti-inflammatory effects! (YAY!)

Here are the two other products that I have yet to try…

Overall, I love the range. My makeup goes on more evenly and stays on longer. Oil secretion has also need slightly reduced, I don’t blot as much as I used to, which also means less touch ups. All in all, this range of products is definitely worth a shot! xx

Mineral Bubble Face Wash $14.90
Mineral Purify Facial Cleanser $8.90

believe in bass.

Since I’m home on a friday night… Dubstep, why not?

I’m gonna do some head bangin’ to break free from reading 11 pages of product press releases, just for a bit. Deadlines, you’re cramping my style.

the heart of tribal.

Just some new stuff I’ve been working on, this time I made first pieces for myself. Top : tribal leather feather earrings, which will be sold in single sides, they’re just cooler that way.

Below : my new tribal/aztec-ish bag. I love the colors, perfect to match fall colors… It’s even awesome-r cos it’s reversible. *grin. Everyone loves it, plus, it’s huge, just the way I like my bags. I’ll probably make simpler ones too, just to suit everyone’s varying budgets. Pouches too, perhaps?

xx

3+3

I just had to share this cos everyone absolutely loves this shot we took at Mink on friday night. The bangs VS the non-bangs. I wonder if Tim arranged us like that on purpose, pretty fab. What an awesome bunch.

And yes, I’ve come to accept the fact that I’m really………. tiny. xx
