And like that wasn’t enough, we went to Coffee Club across the road for some post-movie slurps and cam-whoring with my new pair of bunny ears.
One minute we were complaining about how warm it was, the next minute the wind came out of nowhere and blew serviettes off tables and knocked empty cans off their bases. Agnes & I ended up laughing like idiots for a good 5 minutes especially after the wind blew a leaf into my drink. Fun times.
Kudos to the service staff at Coffee Club (Orchard Fountain). Not only did they get me a new drink in an instant, they also renewed my faith in Singapore’s service standards.
It was raining so heavily and we didn’t have umbrellas. Decided to try my luck and ask if they had an umbrella we could borrow, not only did they find an umbrella, the waiter went a step further and hailed cabs for us, telling the driver to wait and then running back to shelter us to the cab. That’s the way service should be! Sigh, makes me miss the F&B industry. Honestly I’d go back but if I could escape the crazy ass work hours.

Sunday, I came back from a shower to find that my laptop had shut itself down. For a moment I thought it just slept but no, it didn’t respond to any keys. Earlier in the day I had this weird feeling about, what if my mac were to die on me, so, naturally, I went into panic mode. I tried to turn it on and…. This happened. I really hate my gut.
This is the second time I’ve seen this dreaded screen. Sunday was nothing short of depressing. Dropped it off with Stanley on Monday and I am now feeling extremely lost without my laptop. Right now I’m using my dad’s laptop but it’s driving me nuts cos I now find Windows absolutely foreign. I keep trying to scroll with two fingers, like every 10 seconds.
Trying to edit photos is a nightmare cos daddy has no photoshop and I have absolutely no idea how to navigate through Windows anymore. My HD is with Stanley, cos I asked him to backup the rest of my files. It’d be of no use to me anyway cos I can only access the files on another mac. SIGH! I guess it boils down to either getting a new macbook pro or, spending god knows how much $ to get the logic board replaced, which apparently, isn’t worth replacing.
Please, be nice to me. I’m positively depressed.
PS : I still have access to my emails so business as usual! Since I can’t update items in store, new items will be made available for purchase on my Facebook page. Already added plushies, new bracelets and Perpetual Spring sneaks! xx

A little cat in the big city.
While the original Arthur is busy enjoying life away from me, I’ll be working on a series of Arthurs! Yes, I’m selling these, pretty excited actually cos I’ve always wanted to be sewing more.
I’m finally working on a new “section” of the store, things for the home. Novelty decorations, ornaments, plushies, anything and everything that belongs in a home or office for that matter. Things that will bring cheer and warm your heart.

I took Arthur the tiger cat out with me on saturday evening to see the world. He was abducted shortly after dinner.

See more of Arthur soon! When I get more “hostage photos”, or when he actually comes back home. Never thought I’d have a rock star cat, he lives the way we live. For those of you who don’t know yet, Arthur is a stuffed cat toy I made the other day. After having him for a night, he was kidnapped by Mimi and is currently under her “nanny care”.
