It’s midweek. If you’re stuck in the office sulking, watch this.
I’ve been looping it over and over.
Guilty pleasures shopping on Revolve Clothing. Got new loafers from Matiko at 45% off! And the honey hexagon studs from Belle Noel were a tad too cute to resist. I also bought a bralet, but no, I’m not showing you that. I hit USD$100 so I got free shipping, that was pretty much the idea.
I was that close to buying a l/s top by James Perse, but they didn’t have my size.

Wikipedia: “Needle Felting is a popular fiber arts craft conducted without the use of water. Special barbed felting needles that are used in industrial felting machines are used by the artist as a sculpting tool.”
Combine needle felting + lots of love…
And you get… The Fuzzy Wuzzies! That’s what I call them anyway, cos they fuzzy and cute like that. I like making them quite tiny, so you can carry them in your pocket as fuzzy wuzzy pets! They don’t need to be fed, but they guarantee a smile everytime! :)
both pandas already sold, olly the owl ring $18 (right) is available.

A remake of Lola the bunny ring $22, she’s quite popular around here; photographed with the black blooms earstuds $10. Both available by remake.
The busy bee ring $22. A plump honey bee which promises not to sting.
This got snapped up as soon as I added it to the store! I may or may not do remakes so do check back or send me an enquiry if you like. There are more fuzzy wuzzies in store waiting to find a home! :)

Gotta love courier deliveries… I got two this week! I iz happy bunny :D

Yesterday : Received my first full bottle of serum from Viccal
I finally made the purchase with a 30% discount, the damage? $115.50. I’ve blogged about Viccal before but if you girls missed the previous posts, you can read it here.
I know it sounds pretty pricey, but it works for me. In fact, if you really do the math, it’s not all that expensive cos you only use a weeee bit each time! This is the only thing I use now, apart from a moisturiser after cleansing. No more toners, pimple creams and what not. See? You actually save on other stuff cos this takes care of all your problems. Okay, you don’t have to believe what I say, but give it a shot!
Claim your FREE Viccal samples! After which you will be entitled to 10% off purchases and 30% off during your birthday month! I used my mum’s birthday to get the 30% off. Now you know!

Today : Courier delivered a full sized bottle of Bioré’s new marshmallow whip facial wash, sponsored by The Sample Store.
Yay! I get to try this before it hits the stores. *grin. Review for this will be up in the next week or so!
from top left : matiko white perforated loafers US$126 // matiko lime green snake stud loafer US$139 // minimarket color block shoes US$199
i need shoes like these.
Got this in an email from a customer in Slovakia. What can I say, I have the awesomest customers ever. Thanks for this Adam :)

I drafted this post almost 3 weeks ago, but I’ve been too busy to finish it sooo! Since I’m home on a friday night, here it is! You’ll realise that I get less vague as the posts progress; memory lapses happen over 3 weeks, you see. And this is only day one, I’ll get down to the rest soon enough, it gets more fun ;)
I still cannot fathom how i came up with such a “brilliant” idea; making potato salad for the bus trip up to KL. Let’s just say it was a last minute decision which resulted in me running around like a mad horse grabbing groceries & “packing supplies” ie. a cooler bag. By the time i was done with the potatoes & eggs i could barely keep my eyes open but i couldn’t sleep cos my bag was still half-packed.

i did nap for a bit, before waking up at 6am to cook the bacon & the tomatoes. that’s one thing added to my first time experiences. √ waking up at 6am to cook.
My first meal? Sushi Tei. Well it was between this or Kenny Rogers, or Nando’s Chicken. We’re not very good hungry tourists. The sashimi was very fresh tho, that I remember.
After a short afternoon nap we went out exploring Petaling Jaya with Cheryl. We had to crash at her place for a night cos due to our last minute decision to head up a day ahead of Jones & Mimi, we couldn’t book any hotels. How smart. Cheryl was a really good host and by the end of the night we were mad stuffed with food.
After having noodles at this street place (which was a little traumatizing), we had dessert #1 at KTZ food. They call this Mat-Toh-Loh. Don’t ask me what that means, cos I have absolutely no idea whatsoever; I just remember it being pretty good. Off in search of dessert #2, A&W.
This was probably one of the things I was looking forward most to. YUM. Of course, we weren’t exactly such pigs to have coney dogs after dinner; we bought them for breakfast the next day!
Failed attempt to buy alchy cos 7-11s there don’t open 24 hours, we popped by one around 10-ish and it was already closed! We ended up watching Taxi.
Well that’s day one in a nutshell, more food from KL in the next post, soon enough hopefully. I think I’m going to bed. XOXO
Picture this… It’s the weekend and it’s time to let your hair down and have some fun, but for some reason you can’t get out of bed. Your friends call and you spin a little white lie… “I can’t! Something cropped up last minute, I’m sorry but I have to take a rain check, I’ll catch up with you girls soon.” Sounds familiar?
In actual fact, you’re lying in bed cringing and curled up like a ball no thanks to the monthly, dreaded cramps. OUCH. It’s a known problem amongst us girls, but some have it worse than others; I’m one of the lucky ones that usually just gets away with first day backaches. I know lots of girls who get really badly affected by period cramps, but, it’s not the end of the world, and there are things you can do to relief the discomfort.

When I received this, it was like a box of joy had arrived. The packaging is really girly, eye-catching and unique, thumbs up to whoever designed the packaging, the little cutout window detail is really cute, it somewhat creates a picture of calm. Ommmmmmm
I was a little skeptical about what it would taste like. Honestly, you’d think something that could do all of the above can’t possibly taste very pleasant, right?

When I opened my first sachet, at first whiff, it smelt quite a bit like Milo. No, it doesn’t taste like Milo. It’s chocolate-y, for sure, but not overly rich; ChocoMarvel is low fat, by the way, so don’t go guilt-trippin’, it’s not going to make you fat. It’s got a subtle herb after taste but, I say but, if someone like me who cannot stand anything herbal, this is nothing to worry about. :D
I’m not saying it works just for the sake of blogging, it really does. It actually slipped my mind that I was having my period cos I didn’t feel any pain at all. I have however, already been taking evening primrose capsules everday; but ChocoMarvel definitely further alleviated the menstrual “symptoms”.
ChocoMarvel retails at $19.90 for a box of 8 sachets at Guardian, Watsons & Unity pharmacies. Twin packs are also available at John Little, OG & Robinsons for $36.90.
For more information & to redeem your free ChocoMarvel samples, check out their website here where you will find not just information on the product but also very useful health tips! ChocoMarvel is also on Facebook!
Don’t let your period cramp up your style! Drink to comfort with ChocoMarvel! ♥
(these are photos of the actual pair)
I can’t really tell you if they’re comfy to walk in, cos I can’t fit my feet into them. Now if only I was two sizes smaller… I’d really recommend you buy this if you’re a size 37, I’m guessing the fit for a size 38 into these might be a bit snug.

THIS. Pronto.
Is anyone using this model? I’ve been “camera-surfing” online and I keep coming back to this cos it’s got pretty much all I need and I guess $300 is okay for something I NEED. My sister had an Ixus and for some reason I hated using it, I guess I’m just bound to PowerShots.
So, this is what my “aztec-obsession” has led me to. It suddenly hit me and I started hand-drawing these aztec-inspired earstuds, one square by one square. Okay, so it’s not a perfect square but I guess the whole imbalance adds to the natural aztec charm.

I hope to keep each design exclusive so no two pairs will ever be the same, and you’ll know your pair will always be yours only! These will be in store soon, and will be priced at $8 and below depending on the size.
I’m also secretly (okay not so secretly now) changing the store’s look a little bit… All will be revealed in good time. love! :)

I went partying over the weekend without the usual bunch; it felt… weird. I had fun tho. I can’t wait for Mimi to get back from Japan, I miss her too much, it’s weird not having her around.. Whatsapp is so quiet these days. :(

I’ve been following Chiara Ferragni on LOOKBOOK.nu for awhile now, totally digging this girl’s versatile sense of style.

My new Alexander Wang-inspired leopard clutch. Purrrrrrrrrr
Ellie Goulding. I want her booties.
Looks like leopard prints aren’t going anywhere, I’m spotting them all over town. Catty Saturday everyone! xoxo
