Everyone seems to be going for florals these days! The flowers are inspired by my Juicy Couture wallet which I will soon have to replace cos it’s getting kinda… worn out… :(
This one is a gift from Madeline to her friend Eileen who is studying overseas…
Did a simple postcard design on the front with the name “Eileen” embroided on it. The stamp is also customised! Hope Eileen will like this Madeline! :)

I’ve been in love with Miu Miu’s S/S 10 Collection for the longest time, and finally had time to create these Miu Miu-inspired pieces!
Been sewing alot more than usual of late i realise… Got some new foldover pouches to add to the store too! And I’ve got tons of fabric sitting around… Time to start making some new tote bags perhaps?

Society is afraid of alonedom, like lonely hearts are wasting away in basements, like people must have problems if, after a while, nobody is dating them. but lonely is a freedom that breaths easy and weightless and lonely is healing if you make it.
You could stand, swathed by groups and mobs or hold hands with your partner, look both further and farther for the endless quest for company. But no one’s in your head and by the time you translate your thoughts, some essence of them may be lost or perhaps it is just kept.
Perhaps in the interest of loving oneself, perhaps all those sappy slogans from preschool over to high school’s groaning were tokens for holding the lonely at bay. Cuz if you’re happy in your head then solitude is blessed and alone is okay.
It’s okay if no one believes like you. All experience is unique, no one has the same synapses, can’t think like you, for this be releived, keeps things interesting lifes magic things in reach.

Pretty much what took up my entire friday… I did get other designs done as well but this was friday’s main focus. I’m so tired now it’s 3am and I’m quite ready to crash. Hopefully not in front of my laptop tho… This week pretty much flew by without me even realising it. I really wish i had more time to work on stuff but there’s just so many things i have to juggle right now! I’ll leave that “story” for later… meanwhile…
Had a sudden urge to make this and now it’s just sitting in front of me on my latop. Makes a pretty cool “laptop pet” tho… Thoughts anyone? All i know is that i’m the zombie now and i should really hit the sack…

I spent all day doing design drafts… Took breaks inbetween to try to get organised. I can’t believe it’s already thursday. Seriously, I could use a few extra hours a day at the rate I’m going. It’s either my days are getting shorter or time is passing doubly quick these days. But I’m finally picking up my new boots later today! FINALLY! I’ve got tons of new clothes for the weekend as well. Makes me uber happy! But also puts me in a “what to wear to which event dilemma…”

I honestly think time has started flying by a little too quickly all of a sudden. In the blink of an eye we’re suddenly into week two of November, 2010 is slowly ceasing to exist…
I had a pretty fab weekend though… Chilled on friday, met up with Sam Cooper for dinner at Barstop on Devonshire Road on saturday… It’s been 3 years since I last saw Sam! He’s lead vocalist of The Dirt Radicals, which was once Saw Loser and Pug Jelly before… Remember Pug Jelly?
Here he is looking all classy. It’s probably the first time I’ve seen him without all the punk accessories and black eyeliner… After 3 years he has indeed changed quite abit!
I had my favourite roasted pumpkin soup with onion bread & mac & cheese!
Awesome stuff! Altho I got tricked me into having wasabi prawns, which went straight up my nose… Not cool. Was really planning to head home after dinner but ended up at Mulligan’s and Zirca after… So much for self discipline eh? Ppffttt :/
Anyways! I just ordered new bottlecaps last week, taking into consideration everyone would love to customise gifts for year end gift giving… I smell Christmas already! Meanwhile, just completed this keyring earlier…
I’m still working on the “HOT PINK & TEAL OBSESSION” Collection. Yes! I decided to make a mini collection out of my sudden obsession. Look out for it… It’ll be launched sooner than you know… I came across this some time ago and I think it’s mad cute! Who wants to bake some Patrick cookies? or bread? Sugar overkill tho I reckon…
All work and no play could make me a boring person so I’m gonna have some MEGAMIND fun tomorrow with a bunch of fun people…

bYSI has been around since 1998. I remember when I was shopping for clothes for my first full time job, I bought a couple of pieces from bYSI, and in fact I still have them in my wardrobe… That’s over 5 years ago!
I believe the brand has evolved a whole lot since then, now providing women with a wide range of affordable runway trends!
Looking at photos from the Autumn/Winter Collection, I had the impression the outfit would cost a lot more than it actually does, but they’re actually really affordable! bYSI makes fashion accessible to the masses, and with their wide range of clothes, you’ll find whatever you need! From office wear to party frocks, or just a simple outfit that’ll take you from day to day, I know I’ll be able to find something at bYSI that fits the bill.
They definitely live up to the promise of letting us ladies be “A new woman everyday”!

So I had a little “accident” yesterday evening… I was itching to needle-felt cos I haven’t needle-felted anything in awhile. But like 2 minutes into it, I stabbed the barbed needle right through my FINGER NAIL, and into my finger. Can’t really see clearly from the photo tho cos my nails are like hot pink with teal polka dots. Yeaaa i thought my nails were really cool until this happened. =(
hope this doesn’t gross everyone out too much… it hurt really bad for about an hour. when i got the needle out my head was spinning like crazy! Could have hit some nerve in my finger cos it definitely felt like the worst needle stab EVER! I’ve been getting nagged at for not being careful and for being accident prone. It’s just me, really. :/
yup… and since i painted my nails pink and teal, i’ve been hopelessly obsessed with the two colors… soooo, expect lots of new accessories that revolve around that theme! Laterrrssss! =)

haha as if the wedges weren’t loud enough, i painted my nails hot pink and used my pink bb casing to match!
These are Jeffrey Campbell inspired wedges and they look just like the original but at a tiny fraction of the price! They’re super comfy and I’ve been wearing them on shopping trips and even to the clubs!
