Inspired by celebrity styles, this sunny yellow chiffon maxi will be a great piece to wear in sunny Singapore! Go beach-y with flip flops or dress it up with wedges or heels…
I added in a twist detail at the back to make it stand out from other maxi dresses we see around, and a banded waist for a flattering fit! Chiffon is lightweight and won’t make you sweat in this heat, and it’s a really great fabric to dress up for parties!

for good reason tho! i was awake for 24 hours yesterday (430 am – 430 am today) so i’m pretty much zonked out :S oddly tho i woke up at 11-ish this morning and i figured i shouldn’t go back to sleep otherwise the whole day would be gone… but by evening i could hardly keep my eyes open and took a 2 hour snooze until dinner… i was never someone to take naps… it’s becoming quite a habit now!
anyway, back to yesterday, was working this event… Maybelline’s Power In You show! gosh i had to get to SMU by 7am, and lately i’ve been coming home at 5am… so to have to wake up at 5am was a real nightmare! i barely got any sleep the night before, was rolling in bed from 1am and only managed to fall asleep at like 130am??? sheeeeesh. sleep was bad, i remember having nightmares and at 415am i got a text from April about what to wear… i couldn’t go back to sleep after that! :(
i was surviving on red bull all day… in the morning we were cleaning mirrors that were bought from Mustafa, and believe it or not, the mirrors really stinked somehow! I better not say too much tho =X
the real fun started when i had to pick up Taya’s wardrobe from Wisma, ran into some last minute issues but everything worked out perfectly in the end!

sigh, it’s so depressing standing next to Taya….
no one is used to seeing me in jeans and sneakers… well get used to it! cos i have too many pairs of sneakers that i’m not wearing enough… actually just three.
we finally wrapped up at 7pm and went to Vivo for dinns… was really looking forward to some good ol rosti but the queue at Marche was insane!!! we were so tired that we started doing really stupid things like blowing bubbles into my glass of coke. i think we lost our minds…
two zonked out zombies. this was probably around 11… still surviving!
sadly, i was hoping for a heineken or asahi, but the only beer they had there was Kronenbourg… it’s extremely smooth, maybe abit too smooth. The people were either really high, or… i don’t know. there was quite a bit of girl on girl action going on! then girl on guy, and more girl on girl… okay, i probably shouldn’t elaborate.
i almost got thrown in, but i guess the person who tried to didn’t want to have to buy me a new camera, and watch, and whatever else would malfunction when wet. why does everything sound so wrong? pffft.
that’s that, all in 24 hours… i don’t think i want to stay awake for 24 hours again, unless for good reason.

it’s thursday already? gosh, time is flying a little faster than i expected… it’s been a really crazy week, somewhat fruitful actually… and i’m loving my new tan! (not very much, but i’ll build on it) my hair, still hasn’t really fallen into place since i cut it last week tho….

When I look back at past arguments, I forget why I was even angry then.
All the time we wasted being angry, it makes no sense at all. All the grudges we held on to, just to bring into another argument; building walls of defense around us as a result.
We’re always looking for someone to blame, for the things we could not do ourselves, never realizing that the only person to blame was ourselves all along. It’s stupid, it really is. I guess we just never learn to learn…
We’re always worried about the journey ahead, how we’re going to get there, always afraid to fail. We forget that with an end in mind, it just takes a leap of faith to get there. If only we trust in each other and keep on dreaming the same dream.
One day I’ll hold your hand again, and together we’ll look back at all the messes we made and have a good laugh. Like how we always dreamed about it from the start, we’ll only grow stronger and conquer this world together again…

i’ve been using the facial wash and hydrating lotion twice daily for about 3 days, and i love how it make my skin feel! it does exactly what it says, leaves skin fully hydrated and soft. i know you must be thinking that this won’t be suitable for you if you have oily skin, but remember, even oily skin needs to be hydrated! i have combination skin and it works really well! in fact i reckon my makeup goes on and stays on better too!
you only need a tiny pea size squeeze of the facial wash, it lathers up really well. same with the hydrating lotion, just 3 to 4 drops will do the trick, and my skin drinks it up in seconds! would i buy the rest of the Hada Labo range? definitely worth considering!

i was googling for new hairstyles and i came across some photos of Daisy Lowe. totally in love with her style. and now, i so want her hair… love the soft fringe, at least it’ll be easier to maintain than bangs… and the layers are so pretty too. altho i’m not half as hot as her, this is probably going to be my next hair do! now, if i can just decide where to go for a haircut…. chapter 2?
