…ever wanted to be a model but never knew where to start? well, here’s your chance!

remember the WHO WORE IT BEST contest held amongst the ambassadors some time back? Now it’s YOUR turn to have some styling fun! This contest is open to everyone, so you don’t need to have any prior modelling experience, although having a good fashion sense will definitely be an advantage!

I will pick one lucky girl to receive a signature ClubCouture tank top + $50 store credit, and you’ll have the task of styling up the tank top with at least one item from ClubCouture, and anything else you can think of! This will automaticaly put you in the finals of the WHO WORE IT BEST CONTEST, and you get to keep everything at the end!

well i’m guessing most of you have been reading my blog for awhile, and i’m pretty sure you have a good idea of what styles i lean towards by now! so here’s how i’ll go about picking a winner… it’s fun! like a how well do you know Jeanine kinda thing!

2. pick out one or more items, totalling no more than $100 that you think i would most likely wear. (please make sure it’s available in a size small tho!)

3. drop me an email at jeanine@jeaninegabrielle.com with the item names (and url links preferably)

4. please include your full name, age, phone number, and also a full-length photo of yourself.

on the 30th of June, i will decide who made the best selection!

FLEA YOUR MIND!

Jeanine Gabrielle goes to the FLEA!

THIS SATURDAY 26TH JUNE, 2PM – 7PM AT SCAPE PLAYGROUND

i’m particularly excited cos it’s been ages since i last flea-ed. but there’s an even more exciting reason! it’s the official launch of CHAT! a youth mental health programme. remember Mehbit? that lil green monster i made a few months back? well he’s the official mascot and he’ll be making his first ever public appearance! i can’t wait to see him again… i’ve been seeing his photos popping up on facebook, and he’s looking pretty fab if i may say so myself!

here’s a couple shots of him doing his thing!

anyway, back to the flea itself. i’m going to be there with my stuff! (i’m bringing as much as i can!) and ben will be there, and monkey king will be there selling the 1 or 8 faction tees too!

EXPECT TONS OF PRICE REDUCTIONS ON (ALMOST) ALL ITEMS!

i’m going to be giving away stuff (with a minimum purchase, amount i have not yet decided) but you’ll get to pick your freebie! there are pins, earstuds, earrings, etc. so come early to get first dibs!

Wet Wednesday!

gosh the weather sure is sleep-conducive… and i haven’t been feeling too good the past two days! non-stop sneezing… i’ve been pretty groggy too. i just wanna stay in bed all day but i’ve got tons to pack for the FLEA this saturday at Scape! i can’t even remember when was the last time i did a flea, it’s always such a hassle to pack cos i have to tag all the items (trust me i’m bringing tons this saturday) so make sure you come down to Scape from 2-7pm!

meanwhile, also had some customisations to complete this week…

2 days to the flea, i feel so unprepared. i really doubt the table will fit even half of my stuff… how now brown cow?

1 or 8 Faction Music Video Premiere Party at Hard Rock Cafe

i know i’m totally back-logged on blog posts, i realised i didn’t even mention anything about my birthday which was almost a month ago! so i’m gonna start with more recent happenings!

On wednesday, 1 or  8 Faction threw a party at Hard Rock Cafe! We got to watch the completed music video for Monkey King’s Globetrotter that we shot some time back. that night i answered one question almost 20 times… “WHERE’S BEN????” well, ben was playing another gig at Alcova. it’s a monthly thing, but i’ll leave that for later…

thanks to everyone who showed up despite the flood in Orchard that morning!

anyway, while everyone was busy mingling, Kwizyne and I sneaked out to have some major fun….

okay, confession time… we didn’t just sit in the car for photos, both of us actually took individual trips around Orchard road in this absolutely amazing driving machine. Thank you Chris!!! it’s the best (belated) birthday present i got this year!

you really have to watch the video (and turn up the volume!) to understand why my heart rate doubled and stayed that way for at least 15 minutes after the ride. seriously, this car leaves me speechless to say the least. until now, i’m still not quite over the thrill. i’m pretty sure each time i hear a lambo rumbling on the road, it’s definitely gonna put a silly smile on my face :)

HAMA HAMA ♥!

meet my latest muse!!

i got the beads imported all they way from the UK, cos it’s almost impossible to find the mini size here in singapore…. i tried looking all over but no store sells them!

over the past week i’ve been wrecking my brains and getting frustrated everytime i accidentally “spill” the beads. trust me, these 2.5mm beads are not exactly child’s play… putting them together is a really grueling process! (which i totally enjoy! weird, i know.)

okay enough whining, here’s what i’ve completed so far! :)

i won’t be able to add them to the store until at least tomorrow or friday, so i’ve just added them to the FACEBOOK GROUP. and they’ve already been priced for sale, so if you’d like to purchase just drop me an email / message / comment!

Addicted to Steak.

i think i’m a steak addict. i’m perpetually craving for meat; red meat.

i don’t think it has anything to do with me being born in the year of the ox, there’s just something about steak that makes me happy.

my latest steak-fix :

steak frites with truffled fries and béarnaise sauce at Overeasy on friday…

ben had the egg skillet,

but i needed my meat!

the béarnaise sauce is to die for, i need to learn how to make it soon… the steak, it’s perfect. but $28 for that little chunk of meat is a little pricey, no? well worth it for the taste and quality (and happy factor) tho. kept me happy enough to put up with ben being glued to 2 soccer matches at Butter that night.

with the football fever raging right now, i think i might need to have steak every other day to keep myself happy.

how’s everyone dealing with football fever? it’s only day two and trust me i’m feeling the loneliness already.

…i think i should just go to bed earlier for once
