the weeks ahead kinda scares me, really.
why?
cos we don’t know yet where ben is going to be posted to.. so we don’t know what the next 2 years of our lives is gonna be like… ironic isn’t it? if you think about it… how national service affects your life and the lives of people close to you… there are so many contradictions too. the further ben goes in NS, well, the higher the pay, but along with it comes more sacrifices too. i just hope we will be able to sail through it whatever the outcome.
it’s now just 3 days to POP…
it seems like just weeks ago that ben enlisted, but it’s been 3 months…
….time really flies doesn’t it?
my weekend came and went yet again… but i had fun with ben this weekend… somehow. we didn’t really do very much, spent friday night chilling at home, he burned half of saturday at MDC waiting for his interview and when he was done it was almost time for church already… but! we managed to grab a bite at ang mo kio hub… we’re suckers for junk food anytime.. so we had old chang kee! they’ve got this new, supposedly spicy squid, which isn’t spicy at all… trust me, the original squid is still way better! but the cheese sausages are pretty awesome..
speaking of which, we had Botak Jones with his mum after mass…. gosh it was freeeeezing! the weather’s been really cold lately, but it’s kinda nice tho… the closest we get to winter in otherwise sunny singapore… oh well.
“i got a feeling, this week is gonna be a good week!” i’m expecting more things in the mail. first up, a bag and a pair of shoes from XQUISIS. expect special deals from XQUISIS in the months to come! see, i promised more shopping deals right? i really am working on it! :)
and i just got my oversized blazer from RUNWAY BANDITS in the mail yesterday… to think they mailed it out on monday. gosh, singpost sure is getting cranky this time of year…. for awhile i was quite convinced the package got lost… at least it’ll be in time for next week’s parties… hmmmmmmm…
anyway it’s just past 11pm and i’m getting a tad sleepy. i just added new necklaces, so go check them out! :)
